Apologies for the lack of blog posts. We´re one month into our South America trip and it´s been an incredible adventure so far. Unfortunately, the upload speed here has made posting photos prohibitively slow. It took about three hours to upload 30 photos onto Facebook and afterwards my memory card had been reformatted so we may have lost almost three weeks of photos. (If anyone knows why this has happened or how we can recover the photos, I´d love to hear from you!) So you´re stuck with just words for now. I´ll update these posts with photos when I´m back in the real world.
We´re currently in Sucre, Bolivia having a couple of days to chill out after too many overnight buses and early starts. But let me start at the beginning...
Our adventure began in beautiful Buenos Aires. We stayed north of the city in the barrio of Palermo, and after a day in central Buenos Aires we couldn´t see the point of going anywhere else. Tree-lined streets, colourful colonial buildings, dog-walkers, boutique shops, fabulous restaurants, STEAK, dulce de leche, La Bomba, tango lessons, it took one afternoon to fall in love with this city.
